Hi-
Before I ask my question, we are not using (nor will we be using) service hub.
My company, Rotorcorp, is a reseller of helicopter parts. What I want to do is to ask customers a series of questions over time (i.e. not all in one visit) to better understand how they are using their helicopters, the types and numbers of helicopter models they have in their fleet, their specific job function in their company, and for them to rate their experience after a purchase.
I want to limit this to customers, not prospects or tire kickers, so I would like to show this *only* to customers who are logged into their WooCommerce account (We have the MakeWebBetter integration).
So, on one visit, the first question would be presented. Once answered, on a later visit, I would want to ask the second question, then the third, etc.
I know how to create custom properties, which I’ve done to show and record common use cases, but what I can’t figure out is the best way to do the following:
1 - Check for logged in status.
2 - Check to see if a question or questions have already been answered.
3 - Show the first or next question in the series of questions.
4 - To be able to use branching logic to ask a question that is based on the answer of a prior question.
5 - Allow for someone to opt out of being asked any questions (but retaining any prior submissions)
Again, we’re not a service company, so we’re not going to invest in Service Hub just to do surveys.
What I’m *thinking* is to use a combination of “progressive forms” along with a custom workflow, and then embedding each question in a slide out or a popup. I also need certainty that the information is attached to the right contact record, and if that contact is affliated with a company, that *some* information goes to the affliated company record. (The person’s role at a company should stick with the contact’s record, while the primary use case and aircraft types/counts should go to the company record.)
Has anyone done anything similar to this? While I need this information I don’t have a budget that will allow me to pay for another system beyond what we have with HubSpot and Google Workspace apps.
Any ideas?
