**Introduction**

Hi, my name is Stephen, and I’m the product manager for datasets at HubSpot. I put together a series of videos to demonstrate how our new summary functions work to complement the [knowledgebase article](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/create-and-use-summary-functions).

**Summary Functions**

Summary functions enable the ability to aggregate data across multiple rows in a dataset. This new functionality enables the computation of valuable business metrics including most rates and ratios.

We released to a large group today and will be progressively rolling it out to all users. If you don’t see the new functions in your portal, please reach out to your account manager, and I can have you ungated!

Unfortunately, this isn’t helpful as all of the explainer videos linked are showing as deleted.
