# Subscribe type

Hi All，

i created an form and embed it in website but i didn’t define which subscribe type it is. do you know which subscribe type will be?

I’d like to tag in some Community experts to see what insight they may have regarding this inquiry! @Bryantworks, [@Mike\_Eastwood](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/9259), and @franksteiner79 - any idea which subscription type this form may have defaulted to?

Hi @Jaylin,

In the legacy form editor, click into the consent text box and then you’ll see the information in the left sidebar:

If you don’t have a consent element on the form, no subscription opt status is being set. (You can add it via the left sidebar → Other form elements → Data privacy options.)

Steps are similar in the new editor:

Again, if you’re not seeing this, no subscription status is being set. (You can add it via the + in the left sidebar → Other → Data privacy.)
