Hi there!
My question pertains to an issue that I am experiencing with setting up an email in a workflow and being unable to send it from an email address with a HubSpot verified domain.
I set up three subdomains in HubSpot:
- email.mycompany.com (for email)
- go.mycompany.com (for LPs)
- blog.mycompany.com (for blog)
I did not set up my primary domain (mycompany.com) because my website is on WordPress and I won’t be migrating it over to HubSpot until I have the time (won’t be soon
).
Today I created a form for leads to request a demo on my website. I set up a workflow for the form where a confirmation email sends to the lead once they fill out the form.
I had no issue making the email or connecting it to the workflow.
Here is the issue:
info@getocra.com is an alias of my colleague’s personal Gmail.
I feel like I need to be using info@email.getocra.com because that’s a verified HubSpot domain. However, I have no idea how to make this happen! I can’t verify this address because it doesn’t exist (I don’t think).
I appreciate your help. I really want to get this form set up but not having the confirmation email (or rather having the confirmation email but having it marked as suspicious by Gmail and having “via HubSpot” in the send name) is cramping my style…
