Hi,
We have some static lists of contacts that come in from some in person events and would love to be able to see the attribution as deals close but it’s not showing up in the campaign attribution. Is there another way to do this? I’ve run a report that shows the total of the recent deal amounts but am looking for the attribution of deals that are connected to contacts in those lists.
Thank you!
Hi @ParkerO,
Thanks for reaching out to the Community!
After investigating, I could confirm that: “The data in attribution reports do not include data from static lists or workflows.” as mentioned in this article.
You can find more information on how attribution reporting works and what would count in the report by checking out: Understand attribution reporting.
Also some handy info on how to analyze this information here.
I hope this helps clear up why the data from the static lists is not showing up in the revenue attribution!
Best,
Diana
I am having the same issue. I would think if we closed a Deal related to ANY asset on the campaign that it would measure it. What is the best way to do this when we host an event, upload a list of attendees and want to measure Deal attribution? This seems really strange that it does not count a list.
@SComeau A work around that I have been using to track some attribution for events where we have a static list of contacts is I set up a simple form (name & email) and a campaign for that event, and add the form to the campaign. Then I set up: an active list without a filter, and a zap in zapier that says “When a contact is added to this active list, make a submission on this form”. Once that is set up I edit the active list filter so that anyone on the static event list is on the active list, then the zap runs all of the contacts thru the form and it counts as an interaction that you can track the attribution on.
