Static email header image with editable text and logo on top

I’m looking for a way to streamline my email creation process in HubSpot. I currently use a static header image in my emails and manually add header text and a logo each time in design and then upload it to the email. What I’d like to do is:

  • Use the same header image across multiple emails.
  • Overlay editable header text on top of that image.
  • Include a logo that I can swap out depending on the email.

Ideally, I’d like to avoid going into the Design Manager every time and just update the text and logo directly in the email editor. Is there a way to set this up using the drag-and-drop editor or a reusable template?

So Yes, you can do that (natively)

by putting the image as a background in the module.

Of course the image will adjust depending on the Text

but as long as you have that in mind and put similar lengths texts

it should work ok.

Other option is to have a custom template built

so that it will behave in a more flexible way.

@BenLambert The size of the image is not as important as how you define in the code how it should behave. You can use any size of image, you just need to have in mind the amount of text that you want to put.
I can suggest always go for the

  • Width: 600-700 pixels

And Height could go from 90 to 200 pixels or even a larger image, your brand guidelines are also going to help determine this too.

@Lucila-Andimol - what size image have you found works best for this use case? It looks like the image size shrinks/stretches out based on how much content you’re including, but curious if you’ve got any tips on using this.
