Don’t get why this hasn’t been implemented.
For a lot of B2B clients, the 1st email is the one that requires the least templatized stuff (specific attachments, long text, etc), so it often makes sense to merely template email nudge #2 and #3.
Needing to incorporate an Email 1 as a Sequence trigger is a huge crutch for adopting sales team automation.
