It’s great to be able to send Sequences on weekdays only. But we’ve found that nobody ever responds to emails on Mondays. Also response rates are up Thursday and typically way up on Friday.
Would be far more powerful to specify which days of the week sequences can send on, not just any weekday.
Couldn’t agree more - quite disappointing that a system like hubspot doesn’t allow this.

I’m Ana, the Product Manager for HubSpot’s Sequences tool.
At this time there are no plans to develop this idea. Adding the ability to specify individual days of the week for sequence sending — beyond the existing weekdays-only option — isn’t something we’re planning to prioritize at this time.
This is not to say that this idea will never be developed, just that there are no plans to do so at this time.
