We regularly need to schedule meetings with our Contacts that will occur at our Contact’s addresses.
Currently, we use a meeting scheduling link that fills the contact’s address information into the meeting’s description - then we have to manually copy/paste the address into the Meeting’s location field, so that the meeting invitees see the location in their calendar and can easily navigate there.
Ideally, when configuring a Meeting Page, we’d be able to specify the location as “Contact’s address” - and that address would be filled in the meeting’s Location field when the meeting invites are sent.
Problem:When using the Meetings Link and having a required field of street, city, state, & zip code for a meeting location of the cusomer’s place of business or their home, the information provided does not populate into the location field when a meeting is created automatically into Google Calendar. It only displays the information in the body of the email like this:
Street address: 1234567 Main Street
City: Kansas City
State/Region: KS
Postal code: 66000
Reason to have this feature:When the location is provided by the customer, it makes it convient and eliminates issues where someone has to manually type in an address. If the location is automatically provided, it’s the press of a screen to have it map out the route via gps on a tablet or cell phone. Creates a better user experience for those attending the meeting.
Recommended Solution: Have contact tokens in the “Configuration” field of creating a meeting link. In particular the “Location” section. The contact token options to select should be: Contact First Name, Contact Last Name, Company Name, Contact Address, Contact City, Contact State, Contact Zip Code.
There should also be tokens in the “Invite Description” field.
Can you please include this feature? or is there a work-around for it?
I 100% agree, we have multiple clients that do a lot of face to face visits. Being able to select their adress as to what is registered in Hubspot will help a great deal.
I still cannot believe there isn’t a solution for this. Calendly and many others do it. Why we don’t have this option for the contacts to insert the address of the meeting?
Our team conducts virtual and face to face appointments. We have two scheduling pages, one for virtual and one for face to face, and there’s currently no way to specify, ANYWHERE in the meeting invite, that the face to face meeting will take place at the customers address.
This could be solved by allowing personalization tokens on the Location field, or just allowing all contact properties in the Description personalization tokens, instead of just First Name, Last Name, Email, and Company Name. This is really limiting, and makes no sense. The functionality is there, why limit it to those four properties.
Currently we have to add something like, “the meeting will take place at the address you provided us” in the description, which is just bad.
Is there a way to have the clients address populate in my Outlook calendar??
It just says clients home, I have to click the meeting to get the address…
It could be so much cleaner and efficient for me. I am often on the road for multiple meetings in the summer and i have to keep clicking in the details to find the next address of the meeting i need to attend. Very cumbersome.
This feature would be GREAT for the Bookings Page.
Too bad it’s 2024 and it’s still not an option. Very much needed feature as Sales reps plan lots of meetings and have to add locations manually by going back to the contacts/companies information
It would be so comfortable and usefull, we could save time and minimize the error rate. I believe this should be manageable for experts like you—you clearly have the experience for it.
New to HubSpot, I’m surprised that meetings aren’t configurable by default with a meeting type, the contact/company address, and the contact and company name in the meeting title.
Salespeople spend a lot of time on the road, and scheduling meetings needs to be quick and easy.
The request dates back to 2022, which is worrying that such a basic CRM feature isn’t already implemented.
This is a very relevant and practical feature request. Being able to specify the “Contact’s location” as the meeting location and have it automatically populate the Location field on the calendar invite would significantly streamline the scheduling process. Many teams—especially in sales, support, and field services—frequently meet clients or partners at their locations, and manually copying the address from the tracking company to the Location field is inefficient and prone to error.
