Some of my contacts are not showing up when I search for them within the Contacts List but I am able to search for those contacts in the “Search HubSpot” feature at the top of the portal.
All of my missing contacts have an entry in the Property History tab where their Registered Member is set to 0 with this note - “Changed by internal HubSpot processing, cleanup actions, or possibly via a request made by an old deprecated HubSpot API Key.”
Hi @VSarathy,
Where in HubSpot exactly are these contacts missing? Can you share a screenshot, blurring the actual contact information?
Can you confirm you’re looking at an unfiltered view? On the contact index page, it’s easy to miss an applied filter.
Best regards
Hi @karstenkoehler does this help?
@VSarathy what exactly are you typing in to find the contact? Their email address?
I am using their name to search @karstenkoehler
@VSarathy is the first and last name correctly populated on the contact record? If not, the global search might be picking up other data points (e.g. notes) that contain the name, the contact index search not.
@karstenkoehler Yes, the first and last name is correctly showing up in the contact record. You’re right about the global search bringing up additional notes, calls, tasks etc. but it is also giving me the exact contact I am looking for from the name-based search.
@VSarathy it’s hard to say for sure what’s happening here. If you’re on a paid subscription and want to get to the bottom of this, you can reach out to support in app. From a distance, this is unfortunately as much as I can help.
Understood. Thanks a lot @karstenkoehler ! I’ll check in with my supervisors for next steps.
