Solutions for a travel agent

Hello,

I run a travel agency and I’ve read the couple of pages about solutions for travel agents. I’ve talked to HubSpot people in Tokyo and they haven’t the slightest interest in helping me. They say “Go ask the Community.” I look at the Community and see no solutions for travel agents.

But let’s give it a try. Is there anyone in here who uses HubSpot in two different languages for CRM and sales funnels?

Hi @RodWalters ,

Can you elaborate on how you’re planning to use HubSpot for your travel agency and what challenges are you trying to solve? I can suggest a few approaches accordingly.

HubSpot has a multi-language content capability - Create pages in multiple languages

You can also create multilingual forms - Create forms in multiple languages (legacy)

In case of sales funnels, the communication should ideally be in one language since at this point the user is already identified and associated with a preferred language for communication. Not sure if I’m missing something here.

Hi Saurav,

Thanks for the response.

I run a tour company and travel information website in Japan. My business comprises B2C and B2B elements.

B2C: Selling tours to English speaking tour customers outside Japan.
B2B: Selling content packages to Japanese local authorities

I need a separate CRM for the two businesses, and I need to be able to create automated sales funnels for both.

Since I handle B2C, I want an English interface for my convenience.
My Japanese colleagues handle B2B, so they want a Japanese interface.

We need to be able to access email on the move using various devices and capture the records of our customer interactions in the CRM.

My website CMS is not well optimised for selling tours or blogging, and I may want that part of the site to be on a more appropriate CMS.

These two articles are relevant to my situation.

Unfortunately, there’s no relevant CTA or follow-up information at the end of these articles, so I have no idea how to proceed or who to consult.
I look forward to any pointers you can give me.
Thanks,

Rod

Hi @RodWalters ,

That’s quite a lot to answer in one post, but let me share some pointers. The following links will help you with the ‘how to’ of the case studies:

1. Topic Clusters for SEO - Topic clusters: The next evolution of SEO
2. CTA Tracking - Create calls-to-action (CTA) (legacy)
3. Ad management - https://knowledge.hubspot.com/ads/get-started-with-ad
4. Sales Funnel:

There are multiple ways of creating a funnel. A simple funnel can be created with the follow up email feature in forms - Automate form submission actions

More advanced funnels can be created using Lead scoring and workflow automation -

Apart from emails, social media and retargeting ads can also be leveraged while setting up funnels - 9 Steps to Create a Facebook Sales Funnel That Converts

You can use 1 CRM and change the language settings - Customize default region and language settings

Similarly, different workflows can be created to setup funnels in different languages.

The case studies you shared use a lot of features available with the Professional license. You’ll also get access to the HubSpot CMS with that. The capabilities will be very limited with the starter license though.

If the Professional license fits in your budget, just go for it. If not, there are still plenty of workarounds to somewhat get the job done at a lower price using APIs and 3rd party integrations. Either way, I’ll be happy to assist. Please feel free to book a meeting - https://meetings.hubspot.com/saurav4

PS: Please mark my answer as “solution” if it works for you.

I use HubSpot in English, German (because of regular business trips to Germany), and French. It doesn’t stop me from working as a travel agent; the sales become much higher if I work on German platforms.

I use HubSpot in English, German (because of regular business trips to Germany), and French. It doesn’t stop me from working as a travel agent; the sales become much higher if I work on German platforms. On my tours of Germany, I usually offer travel by train (I book tickets on DB Auskunft 2026 - Fahrplanauskunft & Tickets buchen, so the price for the tour is much lower than average) to be able to view all the beauty of Germany on the way to the selected city. However, in France, I mostly choose flights because they are often cheaper than trains.

I run a travel business too and totally get the challenge. Using HubSpot in multiple languages is possible, though it takes some setup with custom properties and smart content. I’d be happy to share what’s worked for me. Anyone else here juggling bilingual (or more) CRM and funnels with HubSpot? Let’s figure it out together
