Sole Super Admin suddenly lost access to active HubSpot portal

Hi HubSpot Community,

I’m the sole Super Admin of our HubSpot portal and suddenly lost access while actively working in the account. I now see: “You are not in any HubSpot portal.” I just created the new account around 3 days ago.

The account contains active client work, including event registrations, contacts, confirmation emails, and 7-day reminder eDMs that need to be sent soon.

I recently started a 14-day Sales Hub Enterprise trial.

I’ve already submitted an account recovery request, but since I’m the only admin, is there any faster escalation route or anything else I should do?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @crisferrersplendid and welcome to the HubSpot Community!

Thanks for reaching out, and for already starting the account verification process, I can see the ticket you submitted!

HubSpot’s verification process can take at least 48–72 hours, so while there isn’t a guaranteed way to speed up the process, I’ll flag your case internally to see if we can help move things along.

In the meantime, please keep an eye on the email address associated with the portal and complete any identity verification steps as soon as you receive them. I’d also recommend avoiding creating another account or submitting duplicate recovery requests, as this could make the ownership verification process more complex.

Once your access is restored, it’s a good idea to add a second trusted Super Admin and confirm your backup authentication methods.

Sharing this for information: Reset two-factor authentication and passkeys

I hope you’re able to regain access soon! Please keep us posted, and if you have any other questions in the meantime, we’re here to help.

Thanks,

Bérangère

Thank you, Berangere. Will wait for the team’s update.

Since the portal is only a few days old and you’re the sole Super Admin, I’d definitely keep the recovery ticket as the main path and avoid creating duplicate requests.

Hopefully the internal flag from Bérangère helps. Once you’re back in, adding a second Super Admin should probably be one of the first things to do.
