Hubspot automatically changes links added to the post and I totally understand why…but sometimes I really do not want it to change the link

My case is that our team name as a whole branding is called adam.ai so Hubspot reads it as a website and converts it to a different link

In my posts, I can mention \<We are the team behind adam.ai\> it makes no sense to convert it to a link.

Is there’s any way we can cancel this link created?

On my last post, I couldn’t even change it after publishing…on Facebook I couldn’t also make edits

Hi @MahySabra,

According to this [knowledge base post](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/social/link-shortening-in-social-posts), the link shortening cannot be turned off, unfortunately. For posts mentioning “adam.ai”, your best option would be to post them manually on each social media platform.

There is a [post in the HubSpot Ideas section](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/URL-Shortener-Ability-to-write-brand-names-like-Jack-org-without/idi-p/4371) of the community for exactly your use case. I’d recommend upvoting and commenting, the product team is reviewing this as of April 2020.

Best regards!
