The social link module converts links to Hubspot links. These work on desktops, but on mobile email clients, the Instagram links open the app but do not go to the business page.
I know that it is Hubspot encoding because if I send the same social link in a plain email, it opens the app and goes to the business page with no problem.
I would be open to force-intent URLs, but I can’t get that working either.
The simple fix here is to allow vanilla HTML links in your HTML email builder.
Mobile is 80% of our traffic; the only options that I see are to disable all email tracking data or have a broken social media link for 80% of our customers.
