I have found a few posts where people want to be able to configure default fonts for snippets, templates, and meeting links. I want something different. When I’m in Outlook, I’ve already typed an email and now just want to insert a meeting link. When I use HubSpot Sales Tools to do this, sometimes the font of the link matches my existing Outlook font and sometimes it doesn’t. When I contacted support, they sent me this, describing the intended behavior:
- Note that the meeting link inserted from the HubSpot Sales add-in may use a different font than the one you are currently typing in.
- This behavior is a part of how the HubSpot Sales for Outlook add-in functions, and it automatically applies a consistent font style to the meeting links.
- If you prefer the meeting link to match the font style of your email, you may need to manually adjust the font of the link after inserting it.
I responded with two comments:
- In what universe is this useful?!?!?!
- HubSpot is supposed to mkae things easier. It’s not supposed to make me do extra work to correct the random font it chose.
Therefore, I’m asking for the inutuitive behavior where inserting a meeting link or snippet from HubSpot Sales doesn’t randomly choose a new font in the middle of my email. It should use the font that is already in use.
