Using SMS for different purposes such as marketing, transactional, and probably 1-1 in the near future, it will be ideal to have additional subscription statuses, so that a contact can opt out from a specific and not neceserally all communications.

I completely agree with this. For our usecase most of our sms is actually 1-to-1. This creates a few downstream issues that are somewhat difficult to deal with.
1. HubSpot forms are not able to track consent, making consent tracking fragmented across multiple paltforms.

2. If you are using HS for it, you are later going to have to run a campaign to capture additional opt-ins, which will lead to extensive audience loss.

3. The current SMS opt-ins are only usable when using the text marketing feature in HubSpot.

I will go file a separate forum idea to handle forms/tracking in a unified platform.

I want the option for both SMS and email in the same HubSpot form
