ok, this might not be overly “inspiring” & is Far from earth-shattering but I’ve been trying to get my lead advisor to write a weekly blog post for-evvverr. I even blocked weekly time on his calendar, which he just uses for other things…So, this week I used Copilot to write a blog based on an important topic for our clients: Generational communication in the family.
EIGHT Seconds to write it & another 50 or so to create the accompanying image.
I emailed it, he added One line…I’ve just submitted it to compliance for approval. BAM. 2 minutes to create 3 minutes to submit: 5 Freakin’ minutes…
Again, idk if it’s Inspiring…but we have an intern for about a month. That’s hardly time to get him up to speed, let alone put him on anything productive/truly useful. UNLESS you ask AI to help you define the scope of a project to someone outside of the firm, break it down into a certain # of days, add a few links where he can find some pertinent info we’ve housed in HubSpot and Ta-da! Two full projects I’ll be explaining to him tomorrow. Took a few minutes to create a effective prompts & some time to go back through & add my thoughts but starting from scratch would have taken hours.
