# Setting a value to a Developer Form Field

I use the new forms in developer mode to style the font with a local hosted font.

How can I pass a value into a hidden field. The get paramater works, but is there an other possibility:

Now I will set the hidden field “Seminar\_ID” to “test”.

Either use URL parameters _[https://yoururl.com?Seminar\_ID=test](https://yoururl.com?Seminar%5C_ID=test)_ or [global form events](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api-reference/global-form-events/guide#global-form-events). Example:

```lia-code-sample
window.addEventListener('hs-form-event:on-ready', async (event) => {
 const form = HubSpotFormsV4.getFormFromEvent(event);
 form.setFieldValue('0-1/Seminar_ID', 'test');
});

```
