Set up mandatory fields to fill after registering call outcome

We have recently started to log calls in our HubSpot CRM. When logging calls, it’s important to set the call outcome, so we made this mandatory. However, not just the call outcome is important. We need additional information.

For example, when a call is logged with call outcome = ‘not interested’, we want to know why the contact wasn’t interested. It would be great if we could set up a mandatory field pop-up that a user must fill after setting the call outcome to ‘not interested’.

If this would be possible, we could set something like this up:

Once you select ‘not interested’ in the call outcome menu, a pop-up asks you to fill in the custom contact property called ‘no_interest_reason’. Once you fill it in, you can log the call.

Love this. It’s almost like utilizing new property conditional logic for call outcomes. Definitely super needed.

Love this idea. Had the same thought. Please make this happen. Would be great to be able to make all properties conditional, so I can set mandatory requirements for some of them.

Hello, I need this too. We want to govern our calls better, and for instance how many calls are related to a cold call, how many are a demo for example and so on. Same goes for the outcome, it’s good to know how many meetings were created, but how many of them did actually happen?

I also need this urgently!

Need this as well

Would love if calls made from the connected phone would generate a hubspot popup to log info of the call

Great idea! Wish this existed. We need it for remembering to update critical fields like “lifecycle stage” but also for our other custom qualifying properties, mostly so we can follow up with leads who haven’t purchased yet. This thread exploring solutions will be our workaround for now: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/CRM/How-to-Enforce-Lifecycle-Stage-Update-After-Call-Completion/td-p/1137293
