# set time-based rules for CTA

hi all posting on behalf of my customer:

they are looking for a way to be able to set time-based rules for their CTA to show, specifically they have a “Call Us” CTA and they not want it to show on weekends when no one is able to mend their phone line.

At the moment, we are able to utilise [smart content](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/ctas/create-smart-calls-to-action-cta) for our CTAs but we do not have a way to detect the contact’s device time/day of the week to be able to not show them certain content.  
Having this feature would be greatly beneficial for the customer! thanks for the consideration team 🙂

We have a similar usecase/request, where we would need a disclaimer which shows within a specific time frame. It would be great to have time based content options, i.e. a text / image / cta which only shows at a certain point of time. Thank you!

Adding in a few years later, but this is a great idea and would greatly support our team as well. I’d like to have a contact form display only during hours when our office is open.
