Overall the Hubspot session reporting tool needs a complete overhaul, but essentially what I would like to do is to show the growth in sessions from unknown visitors vs returning contacts (who have a particular lead status/ are customers).
Use Case:
My client is investing heavily in marketing, but they are a SaaS provider who constantly has their users or customers visiting the website.
They want to see what is the session growth when we filter out/ compare session traffic from existing users over a time period.
In theory, this should be simple to do (I can do this in GA via login events to build audiences to be excluded), but A) the session reporting tool is very ridged with no custom filtering and B) although data on the number of sessions is stored on a contact record, this is a total and not over a period of time, so it’s impossible to compare sessions from contact in a list vs sessions over a time period.
