# Sequence Enrollment Limit via Workflow

Hi,

My team is currently running a large outbound campaign and wondering if we can limit the number of enrollments in a sequence per day via a workflow?

Unfortunately not, no. Out of the box, without custom development, workflows do not have any cap / throttling features.

If you want to have control over how many contacts are being enrolled in a sequence, this currently requires some manual element (selecting contacts for enrollment, creating segmented lists or something along those lines).

With Operations Hub Professional you could work with a developer to create custom code actions which delay enrollment once a daily limit is reached, for example.

Hi,

Native HubSpot doesn’t give you a straightforward “max X enrollments per day into this sequence” setting inside a workflow.

What most teams do instead:

- Use the sequence’s own sending limits / throttle settings where available
- Control the volume upstream (e.g. only release a limited number of contacts into the enrollment workflow each day via lists or a scheduled workflow)
- Or split the campaign across multiple sequences / days manually

If you’re on a lower plan and the workflow → sequence enrollment action isn’t even available, some teams use tools like FlowNer for more flexible sequence automation and enrollment control without needing Sales Hub Pro.

Hope that helps a bit — curious if anyone else has found a cleaner native workaround for daily enrollment caps.
