SEO scan says blog posts have word count of 0

We recently ran an SEO scan on our blog page and it listed 198 blog posts with the “Increase word count” error. The thing is, these blog posts are all over 300 words, yet the scan has them flagged as having a word count of 0. It seems the scan isn’t accurately checking the word count within the body of the blog posts. Is there a way to remedy this?
This is also resulting in a “Duplicate content” error as 197 have “duplicate content” because they have a word count of 0, according to the SEO scan.

Hey @onicli, thank you for posting in our Community!

It sounds like the SEO scan is having trouble accurately checking the word count within the body of the blog posts. I would recommend manually re-checking the word count, updating the SEO tool, ensuring the robots.txt file isn’t blocking content, and re-submitting the posts to the scan. (more information here)

Thank you,

Hi @onicli,

This might be a temporary HubSpot SEO problem, or your site could be blocking the crawler. As @PamCotton pointed out, please take a look at your robots.txt file and check for any website errors.
