Sending marketing emails to a company-based list

Hi all,

Is it possible to convert a company based list to a contact based list as I’ve realised I can’t send any marketing emails to a company list based on companies. If possible, how can I go about it?

Hi @TMunyaradzi,

Emails can only be sent to contacts. You can’t convert a company list into a contact list but you can easily filter for contacts associated to companies in your list.

To do so, create a contact list and then click ‘Add filter’. On the sidebar that opens, change ‘Contact’ to ‘Company’, after doing so you should see a filter option for company list membership below. Select your list and save :slightly_smiling_face:

Alternatively, you can recreate your company list filters right there, too. HubSpot will return all contacts associated to companies meeting the criteria.

Hello Karsten,

How about when I want to Email Companies without an associated contact (and contact email) but with an general emailadres? (e.g., info@company.com)
I cant make a mailing list of these because their not contacts…

Only option to upload (excel) list in send proces?
