Quick question—has anyone here successfully sent a marketing email to 1,000 or more contacts at once using HubSpot? I’ve read that it’s possible, but I’d love to hear from those who have actually done it.
Were there any challenges or best practices you’d recommend? Appreciate any insights!
I’ve successfully managed email sends to much larger recipient lists in various HubSpot portals – it’s definitely not unusual and HubSpot has the infrastructure to handle large lists.
In terms of best practices, if this is your first larger send, it’s a good idea to break it into smaller chunks. If you’ve only sent emails to lists of 100 contacts before, for example, you can always break your new larger list into smaller bits, and send to 200 first, then 300, then the remaining 500.
For one, this builds confidence. It also helps you get a feel for the list (unsubscribes, bounces, opens, clicks). And lastly, any spikes in email volume can trigger alarm signals at receiving email service providers. Easing your way up is a good idea from that point of view as well.
