@anita Great to hear that this! Absolutely a necessary functionality for me and I believe for many users of HubSpot lists. Looking forward to the outcome.
Great news @AnitaNankam!
Yes, need this too
Adding my vote: Please build ASAP. Badly badly needed
We need this for our B2B company too!
Hey @AnitaNankam, are you still looking for testers or feedback on this? If so, please reach out. We have the problem where a Contact serves as a primary contact for multiple companies. I am worried we are going to have to revert back to our old email system if there isn’t a solution in the near future. Thanks!
Hi @AnitaNankam
Are there any updates to this issue? I am currently with a client to whom this is a big problem.
If someone has workarounds, please get in touch!
Hi everyone. I’m Roger, Product Designer at Hubspot, and I’m happy to say we are in the process of developing this functionality. Appreciate everyone’s patience and support in this effort. If you have questions, feel free to reply on this thread or reach out to me. In the meantime, I will keep you all posted.
Thanks!
Roger
How close is this to being ready? In looking at past posts it looks as if people have been asking for this since 2020
Hi folks,
Thank you so much for your passion for this idea. I’m happy to announce that you can officially email a company-based list!
How?
To generate a list of Contacts associated to an existing Company list, first add in your Contact property criteria if any. Then change the object in the drop down from ‘Contact’ to ‘Company’ and select ‘List Membership’ in the menu.
Choose from the available Company lists and choose your operator: ‘is’ or ‘is not a member of’.
Finally, refine your contact list with any additional filters.
You can now e-mail that contact list that references those contacts from a company you care about based on their association or association label.
NOTE: You can also reference existing Contact lists in the Company list filters using the same process above - just be sure to select ‘Contact’ in the drop down instead of ‘Company’.
@AndresBustos Thanks for the suggestion, but this is the awkward workaround we’ve been using for years now.
With this method you have to update two contacts to change a “company’s” email address: 1) you have to add the association label and email subscription to the new company contact, and 2) you have to unsubscribe and remove the association label for the old contact.
Is it possible to send automated emails if you only have company data and not contacts associated with those companies?
I found a workaround to this by creating a list of contacts and filtering by association with company.
You can also create a property in CONTACT, lets say for example “Company main email”, and run a workflow that copies the property email from company into this property in the contact. (That is in case they have different emails, )
