Hello,
I have been trying to send some engagement emails to our customers through HubSpot. HubSpot asked me to make all these customers as marketing contacts.
Is there a way to send such emails to many customers without marking them as marketing contacts? And maybe from the Customer Service Hub?
Also, would a workflow to automatically unenroll a user from marketing contacts work soon as a deal or company is set as a customer (if we add a company property marking that).??
Would really appreciate your feedback.
Hi @Bayanitani89,
Bulk emails require marketing contact status. It’s best to think of marketing contact status as a billable status in this regard. It’s not marketing content only. Any automated or bulk email requires this billable status of a contact.
The only way around that is the paid transactional email add-on. Transactional emails can be sent to non marketing contacts. How to Use Transactional Emails to Send Relationship-Based Emails in HubSpot
Best regards!
Thank you so much, Karsten…
Is it possible to do transactional emails through HubSpot? We are still doing that through Mandrill.
@Bayanitani89 it is, please see the link I added to my previous reply.
You can send emails without marking contacts as marketing contacts by using HubSpot’s Customer Service Hub. To automatically unenroll contacts when a deal/company is marked as a customer, you can set up a workflow based on a custom property. For better email delivery, you can use SMTPmart, SendGrid or Mailgun.
