Sending a file from Gravity Forms to HubSpot

Hi all,

I have a question around how Gravity Forms would integrate with HubSpot.

Specifically, I have a G form that has a document input (pdf, docx, png) and is saving it in WordPress at the moment after submission.

I’d like to know if G forms/WP can hand this off to HubSpot in some way? Can it be stored in a file type property? If not, what would be the best way to handle this?

Great question! I’m not entirely certain as this is a third-party app built by the Gravity Forms team: HubSpot Marketplace – that said, it may be worth looking into a custom integration via the HubSpot Files API while we wait for other in the community to chime in here!

You have to map it to a File property in HubSpot - same experience as if it were a file upload field in a HubSpot form

@SmartListGhost Hi! I have no direct experience with this but believe the easiest route is to install the HubSpot <> Gravity form plugin/integration: Hubspot - Gravity Forms as @stassey pointed out.

Usually when you integrate a form, like @HowdySarah explained earlier you need to map the fields so the submission understands where the data goes when it sends to HubSpot. It will try to pick appropriate fields, but if one doesn’t exist it will fail to send the file and it won’t be saved alongside other form data (in HubSpot). There is a property type for file uploads that you may need to create in HubSpot first to and then pick in the Wordpress/Gravity form settings.
