# Send emails from Hubspot

Hey! My email function inside hubspot has been disabled. It appears to be connected with the gmail extension, but I cannot send emails directly from HS

Hi @MAllende6,

The extensions and the email connection are two separate things. The extensions for Office 365 and Chrome allow you to leverage HubSpot features within those apps – but you still need to connect your personal email address. Please make sure that it’s (still) connected: [Connect your personal email](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/connected-email/connect-your-inbox-to-hubspot)
