We’re actively using HubSpot document tool, and in the contact activity feed, we can access if the prospect viewed the doc (that’s hosted in HS tool) and how they interacted with it.
It would be really cool to be notified once the doc is opened by a prospect we shared it with - the reasons of why it can be so helpful, are clear I believe. I know some other content hosting platforms that do offer this ability, but was wondering how that can be done in HS? Maybe workflows are the way out here?

There is in fact a setting for this in the HubSpot settings for notifications (Settings > Notifications > Email > search for “document”):

Sure that’s a solution, but I really wanted to go deeper. I was thinking about more flexibility and the ability to customize when you receive the notification. For example It’d be amazing to be able to sent a notication to team member once prospect views 10th page of their document, or the prospects stay active for 30 seconds … Just the view is cool, but there are certainly more opportunities to explore.
