As you can imagine pretty frstrating and time consuming to send emails to contacts one at a time using a template It appears Sequences alsmost does this but I don’t want to pick 500 contacts one by one - is there a way for Sales to send a bacth of emails using a template like Marketing can?
Hello @BFrank, thank you for posting in our Community!
I would like to invite our top experts to this conversation @danmoyle @robsobers @webdew any recommendations to @BFrank matter?
Thank you,
Pam
@BFrank when you use Sequences + Templates, you can create your template so you’re using the first name personalization token, like a mailmerge does. As long as your template doesn’t need any specific editing (like, when we met at [insert event here] and you have to change for each of the 500), then simply checking each contact record in the contact view and clicking ‘enroll in sequence’ will be fast and easy.
You can enroll 50 contacts at a time into a sequence. HubSpot sees this as different than sending a marketing email; sales activity vs. marketing activity. But it’s possible to do what you’re looking to do with a small caveat.
so the only way to do that is by picking contacts not by creating a
filtered list ?
@BFrank in a technical sense, you can enroll contacts from the list tool into a sequence, too.
You can also filter your contact records from your contact view, effectively creating a “list” there and choosing your contacts. There are multiple routes to your destination. ![]()
ok - i’ll have to look into how do that list - doesn’t appear
straightforward - and thank you again for all of your insight
