selected Subscription page preference pages not being used

Hello all,

I am in the marketing settings, selected my custom made pages for the Subscription page preference.

And then i send out some test emails, but the links in the footer of the email go to the manage preferences and unsubscibe pages that are still the defaults templates. And not the ones i selected and saved.

Would anyone know why?

Hi @PixelPaul ,
Please make sure once you select your desired page from page page prefernce settings, you are pressing that save button in bottom left corner.
You can refer to knoledgebase article: Customize email subscription pages

yes, i do save it. But still nothing, still uses the default

@PixelPaul are you still seeing the old templates? sometimes it takes a little bit for the server to update the page template, up to 24 hours.

i first selected my template and saved it about 5 days ago.

@PixelPaul and when you go back to the template settings, are the new templates still showing as the saved template?

yes

@PixelPaul what HubSpot tier are you using?

I have the Hub Starter package, so the stater plan on everything.

@PixelPaul I just checked my starter account and my subscription pages are showing the correct templates for my corresponding theme. Have you reached out to HubSpot Support to see if they can pinpoint the issue?

hubspot support is not very good at all. To the point where i am thinking of cancelling and going somewhere else. It takes 24hrs for them to respond with answers which provide no help.

Hi @PixelPaul I am sorry to hear you’ve not had a good experience with HubSpot Support so far.

I do have to correct myself - I changed the templates in my account and previewed them using a test link, everything looked good.

Then I resent and old email to myself that took a while to process and just came through - this is what the manage prefernce page looks like:

It looks like it isn’t you or your account, it looks like those templates must be a Marketing Hub Pro feature - I’ve scoured the pricing page and included features but can’t find anything that specifies the ability to have a custom template.
If you use the chatbot on the marketing hub pricing page, I bet the sales rep can confirm this for you.

$1000 a month for features that are so basic and EVERY other provider gives on their most basic plan. hubspot is just a terrible choice now, for anyone without a HUGHE budget for wasitng money.
