I created a “vertical” property at the company level in order to organize our customer verticals into three segments. I can view and organize companies by this property successfully.
However, there are multiple contacts tied to each company and I am looking for the same segmented view of my verticals at the contact level.
I understand I could create a contact level property called “vertical” as well and go through each one to add their vertical property value and then be able to build out my contact segemnts. But surely there must be a way to associate all contacts underneath a company to the company vertical property already created. Some sort of bulk action or hierachy rule.
Please god I hope so.
Hi @MBazin,
Just to confirm, you’d like to show the same vertical of the company on the associated contacts? If so, this is easily achieved with sync properties: Create sync properties that copy data to associated records
Best regards
Thanks for this. We only have the starter level marketing tools so the functionality noted in that article is locked on my end. Any workarounds or other avenues to execute this that you know of?
Hey @MBazin,
Thanks for following up here!
To my knowledge, this does unfortunately require a Professional or Enterprise level subscription. But I’d like to re-tag @karstenkoehler to see if he’s aware of any workarounds!
