We’ve recently identified approximately 2,500 duplicate company records in our HubSpot database. Unfortunately, we can’t use HubSpot’s native duplicate merging tool because we also have an active Salesforce integration, and we want to avoid disrupting our sync between the two platforms.
Has anyone here faced a similar situation? Are there any companies, tools, or services you’d recommend that could help us navigate and resolve this issue efficiently, while ensuring data integrity between HubSpot and Salesforce?
Any insights, best practices, or vendor recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Updated Company Object Sync Between HubSpot and Salesforce
What is it?
Sync company objects between HubSpot and Salesforce with greater accuracy. This new update includes de-duplication features and new support for merging Company objects.
Why does it matter?
Maintain accurate and reliable CRM records between HubSpot and Salesforce. This update strengthens data integrity and streamlines operations for businesses managing customer relationships across both platforms.
How does it work?
When the Salesforce app for HubSpot is already installed, go to the settings icon in the top navigation bar and click on Integrations > Connected Apps > select Salesforce.
All customers will now see a new feature card under the Feature Discovery tab for Upgraded Company Sync. Click the Upgrade button, and your account will be enabled with this new feature.
