# Search options

Hi ,

I want to be able to do a global search on Hubspot to search for contacts by job title how can I make this possible on hotspot pls?

e.g Project Manager ( contacts with Job title Project Managers should appear in search results)

Hi @MLawson59,

This is unfortunately (and unintuitively) not possible for default properties. In HubSpot **Enterprise** portals, this can only be set up for **custom** properties:

As a workaround, you would have to use the filter option on the contact index page (_Menu_ \> _Contacts_ \> _Contacts_).
