We include banner ads for clients in emails that aren’t always or usually part of a specific campaign, but sometimes need to be able to find which emails included that banner ad. Currently there’s no field in the marketing email search function that allows me to find which emails contain all or part of a specific link, and the report I use to track canonical URLs only reports links that have been clicked.
I’d like to request that either the marketing email search function be updated to allow searching by links included OR a way to pull a report that includes all links included in marketing emails for a specified time period as well as email name and date sent - I have a way to filter this down to the data I need.
This has been sitting dormant for over 3 years, so I’m adding my two cens. I would like to request this critical enhancement to HubSpot’s marketing email tools: the ability to search for, filter, and segment marketing emails based on the destination URLs of links or buttons within the email content.
**Business Need:**
Marketers often need to audit, track, and report on emails that contain links to specific domains (e.g., Spotify, YouTube, specific partners, or compliance-related destinations). This is essential for campaign tracking, compliance, and responsive content management.
**Current Limitation:**
Currently, HubSpot does not allow users to search or segment emails by the links they contain. There is no way to generate a list of all emails that link to a specific domain or URL without manually checking each email’s content—a time-consuming and error-prone process, especially for large accounts.
**Feature Request:**
Please add functionality to:
- Search, filter, or report on marketing emails by the destination URLs of hyperlinks and CTA buttons within the email content.
- Segment emails using these criteria for analytics and workflow purposes.
**Impact:**
This enhancement would save significant time, improve campaign analytics, and support compliance requirements. It would also bring HubSpot in line with competitor feature sets for marketing teams.
