Dear community,
I represent a tech company that sells in a very specific btb niche. We identify our possible leads by scraping their websites (multiple pages, home and productcatalog pages) on a combination of technology related keywords.
Ideally we register such a pool of 1000 leads in hubspot and then start to scrape from out of hubspot.
Does hubspot facilitate such webcraping?
How does that work from out of hubspot?
Or otherwise are there particular apps that should be connected to hubspot to get that realized?
Hi @RFamflow,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community!
I believe you’re looking for something similar to the tool mentioned in this Community article?
This feature isn’t available anymore, but I wanted to tag in a couple subject matter experts to see if they have any insight on this matter:
Hi @louischausse, @Phil_Vallender, @Mike_Eastwood, do you have any recommendations for @RFamflow? Thanks!
Cheers
Mia, Community Team
To answer your question about HubSpot, it’s not specifically designed to facilitate web scraping out of the box. HubSpot is more about managing leads you already have rather than generating new ones through scraping.
However, if you’re looking for specialized tools that can integrate with HubSpot for web scraping, you might want to check out some custom solutions. I recently came across an informative series of web scraping videos at Video Web Scraping | Free Sample Data | Nannostomus that could point you in the right direction on how to set that up effectively. These videos offer a lot of practical advice, from basic to advanced scraping techniques. I think they could really complement what you’re trying to do.
