We’d like to simply walk our Tasks view sorted by 'priority", but everytime you open a task and come back, it’s sorted to its default (Last activity) order.

Anyone else get creative here or have other ideas? Many thanks,

Hi @RCostello,

For a sorting order to ‘stick’, you need to first save your view, then make it your default view, see screenshot below:

Best regards!

Thanks - while that’s an option for the “out-of-the-box” views, it’s not an option for a view we created".

Maybe there’s a way to edit those canned views? I’ll investigate more, but appreciate the quick reply!!

Regards,

R

Hi @RCostello,

The option isn’t shown because this saved view is apparently already the default one.

Best regards

Makes sense - I created it then pinned and moved to the front. That must have made it default without me specifying.

So, I guess we’ll just practice walking through the list without burying into a particular task, and just edit it right there int he list. That will maintain the sort - since the sort order can’t be saved. Thanks again.

Appreciate the help.

Glad I could help, @RCostello. It looks like you accepted your own reply as a solution; if you could also accept my answers, I’d appreciate that!

Have a great day!
