I built a custom object in Hubspot for campaigns in Hubspot that is used in a sync between Salesforce and Hubspot. The problem I’m running into is I need a way to map campaign hierarchy and Campaign members and Campaign member status to Hubspot. Is this possible? I feel like if i created 2 custom objects to relate to this it could possibly work but would Hubspot allow the status to be related like in Salesforce? Any workarounds for this?

I see where the challenge comes from. HubSpot doesn’t have a native “Campaign Member” object equivalent to Salesforce.
The Salesforce connector will sync campaigns and contacts/leads, but membership and statuses don’t map one-to-one. HubSpot recommends either using lists or custom objects to replicate that structure if you need to maintain member-level details
The approach you suggest—two custom objects, one for “Campaign Members” and another for “Statuses,” linked back to your HubSpot Campaign custom object would technically work.
The limitation is that HubSpot won’t enforce that hierarchy natively, so you’d be responsible for managing the associations. Workflows can help keep the relationships in sync, but it will require some careful mapping to avoid drift.
If the end goal is reporting and campaign attribution, an important clarifying question is: do you need the status changes reflected in real time for sales/marketing alignment, or mainly for analytics?
If it’s the former, a sync layer that can carry over parent/child objects and statuses without custom workarounds tends to be more reliable. Where native connectors stop short, Stacksync fills the gap with real-time, bidirectional sync so your workflows and reports stay trustworthy.
