Salesforce Sync Issue: SF Pipeline Field Unavailable

Hello HS community.

I’m looking to set up a sync on Opportunities/Deals between Salesforce/Hubspot. However, the default Pipeline field is showing an issue (“Field unavailable” in Salesfoce) and the the integration created a brand new pipeline (“Salesforce - Default Pipeline”) instead of the existing pipeline (“Intake Pipeline”) in Hubspot that our team has been using.

I’ve looked everywhere within the Object Manager in Salesforce to find the pipeline so I can adjust it, but I’m not great with Salesforce and it’s clear I’m missing something.

Any ideas on how I might find/create/update the pipeline situation in Salesforce so that I can sync it with the correct pipeline in Hubspot?

Field Unavailable

Wrong Pipeline

Hi @4realz ,
I had also faced this issue but thankfully our SFDC team had created one field based on the internal ID of the pipelines of Hubspot. And then mapping on both of these properties were completed.
Added the snapshot.

Thanks!

Ohh… This is so helpful! In diving into the salesforce instance, it looks like a “sales process” was never set up, so there was never a Record Type ID created… Thanks for your help!

When the integration is installed, all of the Salesforce Opportunity Record Types create their own Pipeline in HubSpot.

Opportunity Stages are controlled by the assigned Sales Process in Salesforce. And, each Record Type can be assigned a different Sales Process in Salesforce.

So, when the integration is installed, Salesforce creates HubSpot Pipelines - because creating multiple Pipelines is how you can have different deal stages for deal types in HubSpot.

The existing Pipeline you have in HubSpot will not sync to Salesforce Opportunities. You will need to move all of the Opportunities you have in HubSpot to the matching stage in the pipeline Salesforce created.

I’d recommend enrolling in this course on the integration to learn more.
