I’ve opened Outlook more than a few times and sent emails to contacts only to find later that the HubSpot Sales Add-in is logged out. Yes, this is the newer O365/M365 Add-in (not the legacy Outlook COM version.)
I cannot find a way to a) keep the add-in side panel open all the time so I can see that it’s logged out, or b) discover that is logged out through any means other than clicking into the add-in. (A visible icon change would be awesome!)

That’s annoying for sure, and unfortunately, there isn’t a great solution for this right now.
I’m not going to say it’s impossible, but my understanding is that a lot of this comes down more to Microsoft-side limitations/challenges than something HubSpot is explicitly controlling. These same behaviors don’t show up the same way in a Google environment.
So while it’s definitely a HubSpot pain point from the user side, I don’t think this is just a simple HubSpot setting that can be toggled on or off.
