A sales funnel is a step-by-step framework that shows how potential customers move from first discovering a product or service to making a purchase. It is called a “funnel” because the number of people typically decreases at each stage — many may learn about a product, fewer consider it, and even fewer make a purchase.

Hi there, @PArnold0 - and welcome to HubSpot Community!
Thanks for sharing this definition - you’ve got the concept right. A **sales funnel** is the path people take from first discovering you to becoming customers, and the number of people typically narrows at each stage.

Quick start in HubSpot:

Go to Reports \> Create report \> Funnel report, then choose your data source and add the stages you want to analyze.
Run and save the report to monitor stage-by-stage conversion rates over time.
