Hello community!
Someone in our team uses the Hubspot sales extension for Gmail.
The issue is all the emails so that the contacts are added to our CRM. Such as support emails from platforms, personal emails etc.
So, everytime we have very unrelated contacts in our CRM.
Deactivating the extension is not an option because we receive emails from qualified leads and want them to be added to our CRM automatically.
Is there any way to filter the unrelated ones out?
Thanks!
Hey @kaanaro,
The real way is to add these to the never log list by following these instructions. Alternatively, you can adjust the extension to only update contacts which could stop all the random marketing emails, etc. from coming in, but it would also halt new contacts coming in as well.
Hi @Bryantworks thanks for your reply.
Adding all unrelated emails to the not log list seems a big manual work. I am just thinking loudly, isn’t it possible to set some tags on gmail and tell the extension to only add those contacts to Hubspot?
Agreed, it is a big ask, but unfortunately nothing to do with tagging via the Never Log section.
