It is very unusual to address each other by the last name in our branch. The first name is perfectly sufficient. Therefore I would like to change the “from” value of Sales Emails and, instead of “First Name Last Name”, use “First Name @ Company Name”. Just the way it’s possible for HubSpot’s marketing emails (Send a marketing email from a contact's owner).
We have a customer care team that fields emails/texts/phone calls and triages accordingly. Ideally, they would be able to send emails from the central email (hello@companyname), but customize the display name. Currently, Hubspot does not allow you to change the display name.
For example, when a Deal is marked as Lost, we have the customer care team send an email to the customer asking about their experience -- occasionally, a customer will respond with feedback, and we are able to resurrect the Deal and win it. In this use case, we would like for the display name to be the Sales Manager, since they will be the one responding to the feeback -- this can help establish a more cohesive exchange.
