Sales Emails Open Rate Report

Hey,

My boss wants me to create a report that shows how many of her sales emails are opened within a specific time period. I have tried creating a report, a list or adding filters to contacts but just can’t figure it out. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Hi @JJD2000,

In the custom report builder you should see a data source for “Sales email”: Create reports with the custom report builder

That gives you access to sales email opens:

Best regards!

Great thanks. Is it also possible to choose a specific timeframe and sender please? Thanks again

@JJD2000 sure, simply add “Email sent timestamp” to the report filters.

Thanks that has worked to a point as the amount of emails the report pulling through is way too large. Plus it seems to be internal emails between colleagues as sales emails. Any ideas please? Thanks

@JJD2000 if you edit the data sources of the report (top left) and add contacts as an additional data source, you can create an additional report filter for “Email domain doesn’t contain any of [your company’s domain]”, that should remove all emails associated to internal contacts. Give it a try.

Regarding the overall volume, I can’t do anything about that. If you limit the date range and filter out emails logged to colleagues, then the rest should be the actual amount sent.

Amazing thank you very much, you’ve been most helpful.
