I’d like HubSpot to support rich text formatting in the Ticket description field, similar to what’s available in Notes.
What we need
- Bulleted and numbered lists
- Bold, italic, and underline
- Better paragraph spacing and readability
- Optional links
Why this matters
Our team uses ticket descriptions to capture structured issue details, reproduction steps, impact, and acceptance criteria. Right now, the field only works well as plain text, which makes longer support and product tickets harder to read and maintain.
Current workaround
We can use Notes for better formatting, but that splits the core issue details across multiple places. It would be much better if the main Ticket description itself supported richer formatting.
Ideal outcome
Allow the Ticket description field to support the same or similar formatting options as Notes, so support teams can keep structured, readable details directly on the ticket record.
