Revenue Hub release roundup

Revenue Hub Release Roundup

Two things have been true for most revenue teams using HubSpot: the data lived somewhere else, and the questions were hard to answer. That’s all changing!

This roundup covers the releases that close both gaps, starting with a set of updates that bring your full revenue picture into HubSpot, make it reportable, and put it in reach of Breeze. The second half covers an expanding set of Payments features, including two brand new APIs that let teams build exactly the payment flows their business requires.

Revenue intelligence: your contracts, your data, your answers

This story is about HubSpot becoming a genuine system of record for revenue — not just what was sold, but what was booked, how it’s changing, and what it means. Three connected releases make this real.

Contract Imports (Live Sep 11)

What is it? You can now use HubSpot’s native import tool to bring existing contracts into HubSpot in bulk — including line items and associations with contacts and deals. Once imported, contracts sit alongside contracts created natively in HubSpot for management, reporting, and renewal workflows.

Why does it matter? Historically, getting value from Revenue Hub has required starting fresh or recreating contracts one by one. Whether your contracts live in Salesforce, a billing tool, or a spreadsheet, you can now migrate them in bulk and immediately start managing and reporting on your full book of business in HubSpot.

Billing Migrations: Public Beta (Public Beta — Sep 3)

What is it? Merchants can migrate active billing relationships into Revenue Hub Contracts from a legacy billing system or from Commerce Hub subscriptions (HubSpot Payments or Stripe). The migration preserves original effective and line-item start dates, lets you choose a future date for Revenue Hub to take over billing, and keeps imported contracts in draft until they’ve been reviewed and explicitly activated. A demo walkthrough is available here.

Why does it matter? Switching billing systems mid-relationship is one of the riskiest things a RevOps or finance team has to manage — gaps, duplicate charges, and broken revenue reporting are all real risks. Billing Migrations gives teams a controlled handoff: contracts stay in draft until you’ve validated billing schedules and confirmed the first Revenue Hub billing date, so nothing activates until you say so. Recurring-revenue continuity is preserved, and when historical upgrades, expansions, or contractions are included, those changes can be represented in the MRR waterfall alongside future HubSpot billing schedules — making Revenue Hub Contracts a powerful new authoritative source of truth without disrupting your customers.

Available for: Revenue Hub Professional or Enterprise. Also available to any HubSpot account enrolled in the Contracts Direct Create/Edit Private Beta

Revenue Reporting from Contracts (Public Beta Sep 11)

What is it? A full revenue reporting package built on top of the Contracts object. Includes four pre-built reports in the Analytics Suite, a Custom Report Builder integration using two new revenue event data sources, and API access to pull revenue events into external tools.

Pre-built reports: MRR Waterfall, Net New MRR, Booked MRR, Booked TCV — available under Revenue > Contracts in the Analytics Suite

Custom Report Builder: Use Contract Revenue (Booked) and Contract Revenue (Scheduled) events to build tailored reports alongside any other HubSpot data

API access: Pull revenue events directly to combine with external data sources

Why does it matter? Revenue is the clearest signal of business health — but it’s only useful when you can accurately see it. This brings your full revenue picture (one-time and recurring) into the same platform as your GTM data, so Marketing, Sales, Service, and Finance can work from the same numbers. Questions like “What is my TCV?” and “How is my MRR changing?” now have answers your whole team can trust.

Available for: Pre-built reports available to all hubs and tiers through the report library; Custom Report Builder requires Pro or Enterprise

Revenue Foundations Skill for Breeze Assistant (Public Beta Sep 4)

What is it? Breeze Assistant can now answer revenue questions — MRR, TCV, ARR trends — by reading data directly from the Contract object. Ask “What is my MRR?”, “What’s driving MRR change?”, or “How much TCV did we book last quarter?” from anywhere in HubSpot.

Why does it matter? This new skill means Breeze Assistant now understands post-sale recurring revenue from a dedicated source of truth. Until now, Breeze answered revenue questions using deal data, which is often stale, incomplete or inaccurate. Combined with the reporting package above, you get both structured dashboards and a conversational way to interrogate your revenue data.

Quote Approvals via Breeze (Live Sep 1)

What is it? CPQ quote approval workflows can now be triggered and actioned through Breeze. Approvers can review and approve or reject quotes without leaving their Breeze interface.

Why does it matter? Approval bottlenecks are one of the top deal-velocity complaints from CPQ customers. Routing approvals through Breeze reduces context-switching for managers and speeds the quote-to-signature cycle.

Available for: Commerce Hub Professional and Enterprise

More flexibility for buyers, more control for merchants

More Payment Method Options at Checkout (Live Sep 9)

What is it? Klarna and Affirm are now available for US and Canadian merchants to offer as payment methods on payment links and invoices. Buyers can choose installment-based payment at checkout without requiring any additional merchant configuration.

Why does it matter? Adding buy now, pay later options removes a friction point for buyers who want to spread payments — particularly relevant for mid-market deals where upfront payment is a barrier to close.

Available for: HubSpot Payments merchants in the US and Canada

Self-Serve Remove Stored Payment Methods (Live — Aug 27)

What is it? Buyers can now remove stored payment methods from their customer portal without contacting the merchant.

Why does it matter? Removes a support burden from merchants and addresses a common compliance expectation, especially for portals serving UK customers.

Available for: All portals with HubSpot Payments or Stripe payment processing enabled

Lock Contact Email on Form + Payment Link Redirects (Live Sep 4)

What is it? When a contact submits a HubSpot form and is redirected to a payment link, their email address is pre-filled and locked on the checkout page, ensuring payment is attributed to the correct CRM contact.

Why does it matter? Closes a common attribution gap in form-to-payment flows, which matters for accurate revenue reporting and customer lifecycle tracking.

Available for: Portals using HubSpot Forms + Payment Links

New Revenue Payments APIs (Public Beta Sep 10)

What is it? Two new public API releases expand programmatic access to Payments: one for creating payment records and retrying failed payments, and one for reading and writing Checkout settings (default payment methods, fee configuration, address collection policies).

Why does it matter? Both actions previously required manual work inside the app. These APIs enable automation, multi-portal management at scale, and deeper integration for partners and agencies building on HubSpot Payments.

Available for: All hubs and tiers (public beta)
