I’m trying to retrieve the latest data from a custom object based on updates to the custom property ‘hs\_property’.

Currently, I download all the data from my custom object and then filter out those that have differences in the ‘hs\_property’ property by querying

_/crm/v3/objects/my\_custom\_object?properties=hs\_property&propertiesWithHistory=hs\_property_.

When I download the history of ‘hs\_property’, I can obtain the following data:

```lia-code-sample
"propertiesWithHistory": {
"hs_property": [
{ "value": "91733425",
"timestamp": "2023-08-01T20:24:16.167Z",
"sourceType": "CRM_UI_BULK_ACTION",
"sourceId": "userId:45938323",
"updatedByUserId": 45938323 },
{ "value": "91734878",
"timestamp": "2023-07-24T19:12:50.465Z",
"sourceType": "AUTOMATION_PLATFORM",
"sourceId": "enrollmentId:657628440960;actionExecutionIndex:0" }, ...
```

And with the timestamp, I can obtain the latest records.

Is there a way to create a filter using [https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v3/objects/my\_custom\_object/search](https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v3/objects/my_custom_object/search) that can search within ‘hs\_property.timestamp’ or something similar?

I mean, searching for an attribute within a property of a custom object:

```lia-code-sample
"filterGroups": [ { "filters": [
{ "propertyName": "hs_property.timestamp",
"operator": "GTE",
"value": 1693348220000 }
] } ]
```

Hey, @IsaiasFlat 👋 Thanks for your question. You are not missing an option. This one will fall under “currently not possible”.

We can use properties with the Search API, but not use their sub-properties like timestamp, as additional filters.

I understand why this would be a useful addition to the options in those endpoints.

Best,

Jaycee
