We use HubSpot to manage our law firm’s cases. The team uses the comments feature on Deal and Contact pages to communicate and keep detailed records of the work we are doing on a case. It would be useful to be able to retrieve comments on notes on Deal or Contact pages so that we can provide complete reports to clients when necessary and for office management to be able to review all comments made. I’m sure the team will think of more use cases too if we can easily retrieve this data. ---

This feature will be super helpful for us as well. We want to be able to surface up comment based communication happening on a Record to the rest of the team using Slack. Currently, this is not possible because of the lack of an API or a Zapier trigger for new comments. Thanks for considering building this feature in the product. Regards Vinit ---

This is one of the most common fields in any platform. It’s the reason for traceability. PLEASE ADD!!! ---

Completely agree!! Would be amazing to have the function of finding and saving comments on tickets and deals as part of the API! ---

this would be super helpful as we are trying to surface comments and make decisions based on their contents. The logical thing for a salesperson to do is log the notes as comments in the call task. But we have no way of retrieving those comments for our external tools. please add soon! ---

Please expose comments on engagements via the API. Use cases include - migration from systems like Asana and Clickup where comments on tasks should be threaded - integration with third party systems like Zendesk that have threaded comments
