I am using HubSpot API V3. For example, when I do GET call [https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v3/objects/contacts,](https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v3/objects/companies) I can only see the default properties, how can I retrieve all properties default + custom properties using one API call?

To clarify further (based on conversations we’ve had previously via HubSpot Developers Slack), the case is wanting to retrieve a (sometimes) long list of custom properties, or maybe all properties within a specific group when using a “Get record by ID” V3 endpoint (e.g. _/crm/v3/objects/contacts_).

The only way we can see to do this at the moment is to include a comma-separated list of individual properties in the query string (e.g. _/crm/v3/objects/contacts?properties=customPropX,customPropY,customPropZ)_.

More options / flexibility for returning properties in this fashion could be quite useful. For example, to retrieve all properties within a certain property group, you might be able to specify something like this in the query string: _/crm/v3/objects/contacts?propertyGroups=propertyGroupX,propertyGroupY._ Or maybe something like this to return all custom property values: _/crm/v3/objects/contacts?returnAllCustomProperties=true_

Totally agree with this, there should be an option to at least be able to return all properties if desired. As it stands, I have to remember to update my integration every time I add a new property to my custom objects.

+1 here. We’re trying to reduce property bloat & having just trouble just getting all of the values.

Pagination might be good to. Let us get a contact then tell us how many times to paginate to get every value stored on their record
